Desperately need a hobby

Had another usual day. When you are not a student and are working then usual days are... well boring.

When my parents and elders used to remark about a year ago that "enjoy as much as you want in college... you won't be able to enjoy like this later" I never used to believe them. I used to brush aside their advice thinking that a person like me could have fun anywhere and everywhere. Well... I now realize that there is definitely some truth in what they say.

I do miss my college days. I miss Ahmedabad, I miss my friends, I miss my college, I miss the routine, I miss the lifestyle. You know you are getting bored when you start referring to your past as "the good old days...".

College was fun. Many courses to study, many assignments to submit, many projects to do, many movies to watch, many books to read and so on. There was lot of masala. Every day, every month and every semester brings something new. Some things are interesting, some boring but new nonetheless. Study courses that you like, ignore courses that you don't. Try to do assignments or Ctrl-C Ctrl-V from a friend's assignment or blatantly snitch off the Net or don't do the assignment at all. Come to college whenever you like, surf as much as you want, bunk classes if you are feeling sleepy, play football in the evenings and go watch movies at a nice multiplex for a measly 20 bucks (yes... you read it right) and have excellent chilly chicken and fried rice for the grand sum of Rs 35 approx. 100% control. No routine was the routine. It was pure survival sometimes and total timepass at others.

Pune is a nice city, office is good and the project is interesting. The people I work with are nice and I have nice roommmates. But life has become too predictable.

Hmmmmm.... what I need is a hobby. Am thinking about enrolling for German classes. Or learn cooking. Or do some independent project at home. Or something. But I desperately need a hobby. Any suggestions?
