Findory neighbourhood as on 16th January 2006
findory.com has an interesting tool that shows you a blog's neighbourhood. Neighbourhood means blogs that are similar to the blog in question. The 'proximity' of a blog in he neighbourhood is indicated using shade and size. Larger and darker shades indicates a higher degree of similarity.
Finding the neighbourhood tool is not that intuitive. Go to Findory Blogs and type in the title of the target blog in the search text box and hit 'go'. From the listing of posts click on the blog's name (NOT the title of a post). The blog's name appears in slightly smaller font just below the post title in the listing. In the page that appears scroll down to the very bottom and look for a 'Findory Neighbors' link on the right sidebar. Clicking on that link displays the neighbourhood for that blog.
It will be interesting to see how the neighbourhood of this blog changes over a period of time. Here is what the neighbourhood for this blog looks like on 16th January 2006.
