All good things must come to an end. And so must this blog. This is my last post on this blog. Bye ThoughtfulChaos.

This has been my first seriously maintained blog and it has been active for close to a year and a half. I have enjoyed blogging here but now it is time to say adieu. What better time than the New Year’s Eve.

There are no specific reasons for doing this. Well, there are many minor reasons but no single major reason. I have made quite a few friends through this blog and have blogged about many a topic. This blog started out as a platform for my opinions on everything under the sky but pretty soon it turned into just a personal diary read by my Dad, a few close friends and a few more.

There just might be one more post after this but don’t bank on it. Bye for now.

I have just enabled comment moderation on this blog. I have never wanted to do this and prefer that reader comments appear as soon as they are posted but the excessive amount of spam hitting this blog lately has left me with no choice.

Henceforth all comments by unauthenticated readers (i.e. unregistered users) will appear only after approval by me. Registered and logged in users can comment without their comments being sent to the moderation queue... if you want your comments to appear immediately without needing approval from me you get get create a new user account for yourself and use that to comment here.

I really really have to be more serious about blogging. Really. I mean I keep promoting blogs and how soothing blogging is among my friends and then what do I do? I myself blog something like once in a month.

I do have lots of stuff I want to blog about. I start thinking about my something and at the back of my mind I imagine myself blogging about it... but some time later boom! everything is gone.

No more. Problem is not with intent... problem is with my time management. I really have to set aside half an hour every other day to blog. As simple as that.

Happy Blogiversary to me! Actually Happy belated Blogiversary since it was yesterday, a year ago, I posted my first post on this blog.

I wanted this post to be longer, chokablock with memories and what I learnt and how I enjoyed blogging but I guess that will have to wait for the weekend. Suffice it to say that it has been a very satisfying learning experience and even though I have been lazy very frequently I intend to continue blogging for a long long time.
