ThoughtfulChaos

Yawn. It's past two in the night... my body wants to sleep but my mind is wide awake... and of course I am going to listen to my mind. I have always been a nocturnal creature... sleep during the day and work/play during the night. I love nighttime... everybody (almost) is asleep, it is quiet, it is cool and I am usually at my best. I have had some of the most productive hours in my life at night :-) However lately this office routine has brought about some normalcy to my preferred working hours... maybe I should try to change all that. Hmmmmm.

It is L.A.U. Life As Usual in case you don't know this very popular acronym (or is it an abbreviation?) Workload at office is lighter than usual but I am using the free time to catch up on my reading. I am going to Chennai on an official engagement for a couple of days next week. It should be an interesting experience and I am looking forward to it. I also hope to meet up some of my friends from my training batch there.

We bought a hot plate and few vessels and some basic food stuff today. I am very happy because now I can have milk every morning... and of course I can also cook up an omelette or two whenever I feel like it. My roomie Vinayak made the first omelette of his life today and I must say that it was simply wonderful... reminded me of the bread omelette we used to have at the laari outside NID in Ahmedabad. I am waiting for Karthik to get back (he is out somewhere in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bhopal or Chennai right now) since he has always claimed to be a very good cook... I always encourage people around me to pick up cooking... that way I don't have to do anything :-)
